Welcome to the this week’s edition of “Talk Tuesdays“! Wow, can you believe it’s June already?

Today is the day that we post answers to questions that we’ve received either in our blog comments, from the shows we attend or emails. Come back every week and you’ll find the answers to those questions!

I had fun using the Chunky embossing powder on this layout. I used Versamark on all of the little circles in the scalloped border, sprinkled on the embossing powder and put my heat gun to work. Love the extra texture this gave to my page.

To put the glitter on my chipboard I actually added some of the glitter to my Diamond Glaze and painted it on. This also created added texture.

Hi everyone!

I have this journal that I picked up in a $1 bin and have been using it to keep track of my scrapbooking projects.

It was cute enough I guess but it just wasn’t personalized. KWIM? So I got out some scrappy supplies and made it more “me”. Easy peasy!

It’s amazing what you can do with Distress Ink and Ritzy Ditzy Glitz Spray. Smoosh a couple colors of Distress Ink onto a Non-stick Craft Sheet. Spritz with Ritzy Ditzy Glitz. Swirl some glossy white paper (gloss side down) on the ink and look what you get! A beautiful swirled background, almost instantly dried and no issue with oversoaking the paper. What’s wonderful is that the color stays exactly where you put it! PLUS, there is a great shine due to the Glitzy Spray!

After I completed the background, I stamped and embossed the seagulls and saying for elements to the card front. Add a little ribbon and you’re ready to go.

Hi everyone! Maybe you have been working in your gardens already but the weather is just getting nice where I live and I’m itching to get out there. Since I don’t have any flowers yet I thought I would get out some photos from last year and get them scrapped.

I love how I can use my sticky tape and glitter to create a frame. I wanted to use some white buttons but I didn’t have the right size. No problem! I made some coloured buttons white with my embossing powder. Love that I can do that!
