Don’t you just love using stamps? They’re so versatile and it’s fun to come up with different ways to use the same image and make it look different. One of my favorite ways is to heat emboss.

Not all embossing powders are created equal. If you want to emboss really detailed images like this cute Prickly Pears stamps bird, you need a micro fine powder that will pick up all the detail and not just look like a big blob! You can see every little flower and swirl in my image. The thing I love most about EP Max is that you get the embossing and the glitter all in one.

Hello everyone! I would love to share with you today a LO I have created. I had some fun on this layout with some vibrant P K Glitz colors! I love the Sea Mist, Mandarin and Tanzanite. Creating these bold arrows had me stepping out of my normal creative zone. However I love the boldness sparkle to point out the photo.

This close up shows the thick bold arrow shapes and adding the mandarin that was added to the thickers just makes the title pop.

Welcome to the this week’s edition of “Talk Tuesdays“! Today is the day that we post answers to questions that we’ve received either in our blog comments, from the shows we attend or emails. Come back every week and you’ll find the answers to those questions!

Q: What is Ritzy Ditzy Glitz?
A: It is a beautiful shimmery spray plus color! One of my favorite things about it is that it’s alcohol based and dries quickly so that it doesn’t wrinkle your paper! Sold individually in the Store or at shows in 5-packs, it’s a winner to glam up any project!

Last year in October (I believe it was) I saw this adorable shoe pattern at Skip To My Lou. I could just imagine Cinderella going to the ball in this beautiful slipper dressed up in glitter.

I asked Cindy, from Skip To My Lou, if it were possible for us to use her pattern and she graciously consented. Of course, her version was during Halloween, but we want to see how you can use this pattern for a beautiful party or wedding favor. Check out the prize package along with the rules below but first, let’s take a look at what the P K Glitz designers created.

I embossed the Hero Arts doily stamp twice with the Blue P K Glitz E P Max embossing powder and cut out the middle centre section from one of them. I then mounted this onto the full doily with raised pads and embellished with tiny blue gems.
