For this card, I used the Prickley Pear Daisy Heads stamp to create a pattern on the background paper. I lightly inked the stamp and pressed it to my paper with different pressures to give it more of a distressed look. I added in a glue dot and added glitter to both it and my accordion flower using Lemonade Glitter Glitz!

Don’t you just love using stamps? They’re so versatile and it’s fun to come up with different ways to use the same image and make it look different. One of my favorite ways is to heat emboss.
Not all embossing powders are created equal. If you want to emboss really detailed images like this cute Prickly Pears stamps bird, you need a micro fine powder that will pick up all the detail and not just look like a big blob! You can see every little flower and swirl in my image. The thing I love most about EP Max is that you get the embossing and the glitter all in one.
