You may have noticed our design team using some really cute stamps from Prickley Pear. That is because P K Glitz teamed up with them to bring you projects that shows the versatility of rubber stamping and using the P K Glitz Embossing Powders and Micro Glitter Glitz.
The Prickley Pear stamps come unmounted allowing you to mount them however you prefer. The red rubber stamps that I received are deeply etched which gave me a perfect impression each time I used them.

I don’t know about you, but I love calendars. I have one in my purse, on the wall, on my computer, on my desk…. well, you get the idea. You would think with all of the calendars that I have surrounding me that I would be a well organized and punctual person, but I am not! None-the-less, I still love my calendar especially the the one I am going to show you today.
This is a calendar desk set that would make a great project to complete over the Christmas holiday. It is simple and fun to do and will inspire you all year long.
Welcome to today’s edition of “Talk Tuesdays“! Today is the day that we post answers to questions that we’ve received either in our blog comments, from the shows we attend or emails. Come back every week and you’ll find the answers to those questions!
Q: When I heat emboss, the powder clings to other parts of the paper around my stamped image. How do I stop that from happening?
A: Anti-static Powder to the rescue! It is a very fine powder that you dust across the paper before stamping the image. It lasts a long time because you can put the excess Anti-static Powder back in the container to use for next time! After dusting, stamp away! The Anti-static Powder acts as a barrier between the paper and embossing powder discouraging it from sticking anywhere other than your stamped image!
