Hello my fellow glitter fans! Today I want to show you a very easy way to add some glitz to your scraproom. This is my new label for my ribbon. They hang on the door on this nifty pant hanger I found at a local thrift shop. I have had them hanging there for a while now and love the system. But it needed more. I knew the perfect thing! P K Glitter Glitz!
Simply using four items, Chipboard letters, a Xyron, P K Glitz in “Red Hot Chili Pepper”, “Buttered Rum” and “Chocolate”, and sweetening the deal with a few flowers.
Have you been seeing those little canvas bags that are all the rage these days? I see them everywhere and I love how creative you can be with them. I was shopping with my little girls recently at my local craft store and they had some bags on sale for $1. How can you resist that? I decided to make a purse for my little one to carry her “treasures” in, so I got out my PK Glitz products, my Helmar adhesives and my little canvas bag and got to work.

Welcome to the this week’s edition of “Talk Tuesdays“! Today is the day that we post answers to questions that we’ve received either in our blog comments, from the shows we attend or emails. Come back every week and you’ll find the answers to those questions!
Q: Why use a goat hair brush?
A: Embossing Powder, Glitter and our Art Acetates are made from plastic. Many soft brushes, including make up brushes, are also synthetic even though they look like hair. When you rub one synthetic against another, static electricity builds up and things stick together, i.e., glitter to the Art Acetates (in areas you may not want). A remedy for this is to use a natural hair brush, like the P K Glitz Goat Hair Brush. Brushing it over your acetates or even cardstock, minimizes static cling or build up.

We have had chore charts for some time and they have worked wonderfully, however I was manually writing out chores in different colors each calendar month and it was very time consuming so you can imagine my excitement when I ran across this post from Crafty Mummy! I immediately began typing out our chores to create our own!
I already had Jumbo Craft Sticks that I had purchased some time ago and I created a Word document spacing out the chores. You can download my Word document HERE if you want to use it for a template.
