For some reason ”titles” have become a huge part of scrapbook layouts. While I agree that titles can add a lot to your project, it can also be hindrance to your creativity. I know scrappers who agonize over picking the “perfect title” for their page, and sometimes it overpowers the process and takes away the fun. I’m a firm believer that the photo should always be the star of the page, and that everything else is just secondary. I think that the better the photo, the less “embellishment” you need to make it shine, and such is the case for this layout of my beautiful daughter, Audre.
Not only is this one of my favorite projects, it is also one that my kids are fighting over! I can’t blame them though, this glitter pen is super to twist around in the sunlight…guess it just means I will be making more!
I used P K Sticky paper with P K Sea Mist Glitter Glitz to add all that sparkle!

Have you ever completed a layout then realized that it just needed something more? I wanted this layout to be simple, to showcase the photos, but once it was completed I realized it needed just that, something more! Instead of removing and rearranging items on the layout, I pulled out my glitter!
I used a glue pen to trace the letters in my title then covered them with Poppy Jasper P K Glitter Glitz to bring the letters some much needed attention!
Glitter: Poppy Jasper (P K Glitz)

Buttons: American Crafts
Ribbon: Basic Grey
I love how I can take any embellishment and make it coordinate with my projects by just adding glitter! I had a natural colored monster that I wanted to add to my project, but I needed to change his color to get him to match my ribbon. I used my glue pen and added Lemonade P K Glitter Glitz and within a matter of moments, they coordinate!
I used P K Sticky Paper to punch out the scallop shape and then covered it with Steel P K Glitter Glitz then adhered my modified monster!
Last year in October (I believe it was) I saw this adorable shoe pattern at Skip To My Lou. I could just imagine Cinderella going to the ball in this beautiful slipper dressed up in glitter.
I asked Cindy, from Skip To My Lou, if it were possible for us to use her pattern and she graciously consented. Of course, her version was during Halloween, but we want to see how you can use this pattern for a beautiful party or wedding favor. Check out the prize package along with the rules below but first, let’s take a look at what the P K Glitz designers created.
